About the workshop

In the midst of the ever-increasing landscape of AI events, it can be difficult to determine which ones merit your time and attention. Particularly for Capitol Hill staffers who have already gained a solid grasp of AI fundamentals, the challenge lies in finding the opportunities to further expand their knowledge.

To fill this gap, EqualAI created the Responsible AI Policy Workshop Series pilot program. This program is tailor-made for Hill staffers who possess a foundational understanding of AI and are eager to dive deeper. Hosted right on Capitol Hill, this series is a distinctive and immersive experience uniting a select group of bipartisan and bicameral staffers to engage with leaders across industry, government, academia, and civil society.

Not only will participants have the unique opportunity to meet cross-sector AI thought leaders, but also have the chance to connect with other staffers who are tackling similar issues across the Hill. Each session is limited in attendance and adheres to Chatham House Rule to foster an environment conducive for intimate and candid conversations.

Cathy O’Neil, Author of Weapons of Math Destruction, and leadership from the White House, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the SAS Institute, Amazon Web Services (AWS), M&T Bank, PepsiCo, and more.
