Technology and data privacy expert brings over three decades of experience to EqualAI, a leading AI governance nonprofit
WASHINGTON, D.C., May 13, 2025 – EqualAI, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting AI self-governance, today announced the appointment of Nuala O’Connor, Senior Vice President & Chief Counsel, Digital Citizenship at Walmart, as a Senior Advisor. With more than 30 years of experience navigating emerging technology and the complex legal and regulatory landscape, O’Connor will provide strategic guidance to advance EqualAI‘s mission of implementing AI governance frameworks that foster innovation and enable broader AI adoption among companies, policymakers, and institutions.
